The
Woman...
She is the woman in the first
book of the Bible.
She is the woman in the last
book of the Bible.
And the wine having run short, the mother of Jesus said to Him,
"They have no
wine."
And Jesus said to her,
"What would you have me do woman?"
John 2:3-4
The word 'woman' used in
the above passage is a reference to
several other verses using the same
word.
It is a 'thread' that ties Genesis to Revelation.
"I will put enmity between you and the woman,
between your seed and her
seed; He shall crush your head,
and you shall lie in wait for His
heel."
Genesis 3:15
"Woman, behold your Son."
John 19:26
"And a great sign appeared in Heaven,
a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her
feet,
and upon her head a crown of twelve stars."
Revelation 12:1
